[ she's sitting cross-legged on the bed now, eager to dig in, though there's an air of forced cheeriness in the whole situation ]

Yeah, yeah I'm good. [ tired and overworked and actually starting to take self defense lessons extremely seriously is too long, okay. he lets her eat quietly for a moment. ]

The Atroma are dicks. [ yup, he purposely uses a swear he wouldn't normally use to loosen up that stiff atmosphere. ]

We can't just keep keeping-on like we are. They have so much power, and it isn't right. Even if they were using it 100% for good all the time, it wouldn't be right. No one should have this much control over other people.

Well, we resolved the alien thing. And I met the crew. Almost all of them are like, ridiculously cool.

Okay, obviously Barry and Cisco. Caitlin, Felicity, Iris, Oliver, Diggle, Sara, Ray, Mick—don't get me started on Mick—Joe, Wally, Jax, Dr. Stein...Oh, Thea, too! She's Oliver's sister.

It was actually three teams. It was kind of a big task.

[ he actually thinks it over for a moment. does he want to know how sad and empty his life still probably is back home, outside of being supergirl's tech guy? he hasn't thought of catco in months, he can't imagine going back there anymore. ]
