[ still laughing, he hiccups and it makes him laugh even more in embarrassment. he covers his eyes with one hand, and bites on the other, still silently shaking. ]

It's kind of great. [She laughs a little too. It's contagious and she kisses his neck since his face is busy being covered.]

[ playing dirty, pryde! he's dying over here, laughing like a crazy person, letting out everything he doesn't let himself get rid of through tears. ]

From girlfriend to big brother to uncle all in one night! [She stops her attack and curls up against him as close as she dares with all this laughing going on!]

[ she's relentless, it takes a while for the laughter to die down, and then he just lies there, trying to catch his breath. ]

I don't think I've ever laughed that hard. [ another chuckle escapes him, and he covers his eyes again. ]

Really? My singing is that funny? [She knows it wasn't just the singing. It's so good to see him like this. Also, extra beautiful. She may be gazing overly lovingly.]

[ peeking between his fingers, he catches a glimpse of that look, and he can't really look away.

slowly pulling away his hand, he just lies there, looking back, almost mesmerized, turning pink.

it makes so little sense for someone like her to be looking at him like that. he's afraid if he'll pinch himself, it'll all be gone. ]

It is. I was trying to keep it secret. You got it out of me. [Leaning in all the time she speaks. Voice softening as she meets his lips.]

[ he kisses her lovingly ]

[She absolutely melts into the kiss. It's not exactly a "and now let's sleep" kiss.]

[ he reciprocates, but doesn't push it further. he's tired, and emotional, and weakened by his general lack of sleep. making out is enough for him, tonight. ]

[She would be up for another part three, but she'll follow his lead here. And when his lead doesn't lead anymore she'll be content enough to rest beside him.] I love you.

[ this may be his first time passing, and they both know how exhausted he is, so he's counting on being forgiven. tonight, he just wants to hold her close and try to sleep. ]

For making me laugh like that [ when he wasn't sure if he wasn't already too broken to ever do that ], for talking things out with me, for understanding, for loving me - take your pick, I'm grateful for all of it. And more but there's this lack of logical thought and forgetfulness thing that happens when you're not sleeping - at least I think that's what Jim was talking about, I may not be a reliable source -
