You went to Cisco's Earth? How? Why? When? How long? Why is that not a 'we'? Come on, you don't ditch your best friend when you dimension hop!

There was an alien invasion! It was just a few days, and I'll bring you next time, I swear. This was kind of spur-of-the-moment-alien-invasion, Winn.

You get one, Danvers. [ pointing to his eyes, pointing to her. ] They're good, over there? On aliens and evil speedsters?

Well, we resolved the alien thing. And I met the crew. Almost all of them are like, ridiculously cool.

Yeah, who'd you meet? [ story time look over here! ]

Okay, obviously Barry and Cisco. Caitlin, Felicity, Iris, Oliver, Diggle, Sara, Ray, Mick—don't get me started on Mick—Joe, Wally, Jax, Dr. Stein...Oh, Thea, too! She's Oliver's sister.

[ ticking them off on her fingers ]

Sounds like their team has one hell of a grow spurt. How about ours? Anyone else besides Mon-El join up?

It was actually three teams. It was kind of a big task.

[ she pauses ]

Do you want me to tell you about your life? I mean, it's weird to hear that sort of thing.

[ he actually thinks it over for a moment. does he want to know how sad and empty his life still probably is back home, outside of being supergirl's tech guy? he hasn't thought of catco in months, he can't imagine going back there anymore. ]

Just tell me if I should recognize any new teammates. You know, in case they show up. [ in case she's out again when it happens. ]

I think you know all of the major players now. There's a cop that's kind of working with us named Maggie. Oh, and Lex Luthor's sister Lena is in town, trying to undo the damage her brother did to their name. Oh! And J'onn found another Green Martian. Her name is M'gann.

[ they're working with the police now? do they trust lena? where do you find another green martian? he doesn't actually know much about j'onn, or martians, or...so many questions!!!

he has to force himself to swallow them down and just nod. ]

Maggie the cop, M'gann the Martian, Mon-El the maybe helpful, and Lena the has to ruin the nice thing. [ couldn't her name also start with an m? it's a bad joke to make, especially for someone who's been judged because of his murderous family like him, but it's all he's got to distract himself from the FIVE BILLION QUESTIONS going through his head right now, and he does just mean her initials. until proven otherwise. ]

Clearly Lena is just starting her own alliteration club. It's a Luthor family trait, I guess.

And... okay, I can tell you're really exercising some self-restraint, but you can ask me things if you want.

[ get ready for a very quick avalanche of words. ] Is the cop some kind of DEO liaison, a Supergirl informant, an independent addition to the Superfriends, or are we just working with the police now? Is M'gann also undercover, or is there an epic alien partnership in my future? Get her a name before Ms. Grant gets to her - and oh yeah - when we last left our heroes Alex and J'onn were on the run, and there was a dual threat of billionaire tech genius and psycho relatives - where do we stand on those?

Well, she and Alex are friends. Or— well, not dating. Crushing? Alex is into her and they have a good working relationship. We're not really working with the police but she's a big help in a lot of ways.

M'gann works at a bar! An alien bar, actually. So that's really cool. Maggie told us about it, which is kind of embarrassing that we didn't know about it, but that's fine. Oh, Maggie isn't an alien but she works on a specialized task force that investigate alien related crimes and stuff, so that bar is a big asset to her.

And yeah, about that... stuff happened, they came back, Non is dead... that sums it up, right? Max helped us out and he hasn't really been on the scene since we resolved that.

[ that is a lot of information to take in, right there, so he just sits there and lets it sink in for a moment.

maxell lord redeemed himself to winn when he helped bring kara back from her coma, but still it's nice that an idol of his came back from the dark side. non dying, well...sorry, not sorry. does that make him a bad person? j'onn and alex are safe. that's the most important bit of news there. alien bar is cool. and he really wishes he could have talked to future alex when kitty was a man.

he nods. ]

Okay. Everyone's good? James? [ are you still tormenting everyone around you? ]

James is good. Really good, actually. Ms. Grant is taking a sabbatical, so James is actually her replacement at CatCo. He's doing a great job if you ask me.
