Promise! [Said so quickly as she moves in to kiss him again.] I promise so hard.

[ he's got no more words, he's just going to kiss her back and pull her close. for a moment, he completely forgets they're not in his room and one hand begins to creep under her shirt while the other tangles in her hair. ]

[It's unfair how hot that is. She should probably remind him about "Location, Location, Location" but the truth is, she's kind of got a thing for public places oops. She's also got a major thing for him and she's glad he's been around so much and they have still shared a bed. It's been good and intimate in other ways! But they were in the thick of their honeymoon period and all that time off led to a build up of wanting.]

[ she does not get to talk about things being unfair after her video call. the days since she's been injured have been an ongoing nightmare for him, one that he mostly managed to bury for the sake of moving on, but only in a very shallow grave. he has fear, anxiety, concern, fury, and a whole slew of other emotions swirling through his head, and has had no real outlet for them. adding sexual frustration to the mix didn't really help.

he moves back gasping into her lips when his back hits the wall hard, his hand continuing its upward trajectory. ]

[Sexual frustration is the worst kind of cherry on top. Except it's also making this even more exciting now, so maybe it's not the absolute worst. She moans low in her throat before deepening their kiss and pressing close. Her hands skim down his sides.]

[ he leaves her lips for the sake of trailing his way down her neck. every time with kitty is amazing and precious to him, but going without definitely makes this time stand out. he pulls away from the wall just long enough to shed his jacket that suddenly feels like it's made from the actual fires of hell for how hot he's getting under it. ]

[She's going to have to make more pleased, wanting sounds with the way he's handling her neck. Amazing and precious, yes. But this? This is also hot and full of need. And that jacket was the worst. Definitely best to be rid of it. She kind of hates the pants too if we're being honest. She shows this by letting her fingers curl inside them to pull him closer.]

[ it's so hot if he had any brain power left he'd have to wonder if this is all going on in his mind because that's not how real life works. he allows himself to be pulled, and he couldn't agree more; save him from the evil pants, kitty! his lips continue their mission on her neck, as his hands, now free once more, slide across her back. ]

_{[ Kirk had needed to come down to the hold to check on some of their supplies, see what they might need whenever they reached their next planet or station. That and it gave him something to do as they glided through space. It helped him pretend he was a real captain again, though normally a captain wouldn't be in charge of things like inventory. But exceptions to every rule, right?

He opened the door to the cargo bay, stepping in, looking up from the data pad he had been prepping for said inventory - and stopped when he saw Kitty and Winn, rather close together, and with their hands in compromising positions. He raised his eyebrow at them both, and then smirked. ]}

Well, I see someone is feeling better.

_{[ He leaned slightly to the side and looked ever so slightly down. ]}

And someone is feeling a little extra better.

[Does it feel like real life now, Winn? Kitty doesn't jerk back when she hears Kirk, but she does take a slow, phased step back so that hands that were in places they shouldn't be around onlookers slip out without disturbing the clothing further.]

Kirk, soooo good to see you. [Right here and now as if they aren't the ones in the public space. She doesn't really look embarrassed.]

[ oh yeah. this makes a whole lot more sense, actually.

he really hates sense right now.

his own hands fall to the sides of his body; he's flushed and probably embarrassed-looking enough for the both of them, as he leans down and hurries to pick up his jacket before straightening back up, one hand instinctively going in his hair. ]

-- 'sup? [ that's a word. he said a word and not a random sound that's you know what - he will take it! ] Uh, inventory? [ there's no need to tell kara, is there, bro? ]

That had been the plan, yes. But I see you two had other plans for our supplies.

_{[ Nope, he is going to continue to stand here and look amused and milk this moment. Call it payback for Kitty walking in on him like a month ago. Not that he had been ashamed then either. So really this was probably more about teasing Winn. ]}

[She shifts back toward Winn while throwing Kirk a smirk. It's okay, Winn. You can put your arm around her. We're all adults here.]

Just getting some much needed exercise after being laid up for awhile. [Being laid up involves no getting laid. It's very unfortunate.]

[ are you absolutely sure about that, kitty? because winn might be the oldest in age, but he's definitely feeling like a horny teenager caught by the big brother who is...never gonna let him live this down, is he?

it's almost too easy to tease him.

he just makes a slightly high-pitched non-committing sound.

what do you even say? definitely not sorry because you know - he's not. ]

_{[ It really is Winn, and he enjoys every second of it. Sorry Kitty. Except, not sorry. He enjoys this to much. ]}

_{[ He crosses his arms over his chest, looking smug and proud of it. Nope, not letting you escape that easily. ]}

[Winn, what is happening to your voice right now? Don't you know your superhero girlfriend has to look cool? Sheesh.

She raises and eyebrow at Kirk.] You could just step back outside and be our doorman if you want. [She's pretty sure that's a hard no for Winn and a soft no for her but she's all for calling bluffs or starting them.]

[ hey kitty, he's making you look way cooler by comparison! he's doing this for you!

oh god, they're going to have to invent a new name for the color of winn's face right now, as he tries to very casually - shift his jacket in front of his body. he didn't have to have the full big brother experience, he's been teased plenty in his life, jim, thanks! ]

_{[ He turns his attention to Kitty and chuckles. ]}

Wow, that's a change of tune. Weren't you the one who said it was gross when I happened to hear you two playing cargo inventory?

_{[ Bluff meet bluff. He's played this game, and he is interested as to how many shades he can make Winn's face go. Though he does slide slightly to the side and take a seat on a nearby box. ]}

[Tilting her head at him making himself all comfy for this.] I didn't tell you to listen, weirdo.

[ once again, winn finds himself thinking that if they weren't on a space reality show that constantly has him wondering where the hidden cameras are - he'd be wondering it now. ]

The walls aren't any thicker the other way around, man.

[ he can hear you too. and apparently his brain is finally starting to catch up with the conversation, even if his face has yet to get the memo - it's currently playing a very rousing game of trying to rob all of the multiverse of the color red. ]

_{[ He turns his attention back on Winn. Should have kept quiet bro. And hey, he is making himself comfy because this is a public space. You want hanky panky, you go to your room, the door's open. ]}

Where you that red while you listened in too?

_{[ Smiiiiiirk. ]}

Is this a contest? What's happening? There are two of us and we can beat you up. [By which she means, of course, that she can.]

Nah, not that exciting.

[ he could have gone with the more honest I don't listen - he grabs headphones the second it starts or gets on a shuttle to go see kitty if it's still early. but jim just looks way too pleased with himself right now, and well - he can maybe beat up a plush jim, but that's about it. ]

_{[ He could say something terribly cruel here, but he won't, because fragile confidence. And Kitty might attack him. That he was more concerned about, to be honest, though he liked to think he could hold his own against her well enough. As it is, he lets out a chuckle and looks at Kitty with a cant of his head and raised eyebrows. ]}

Kitty, please, we both know there's only one of you that's going to do actual fighting.

_{[ Sorry, Winn, but it's the truth. You are his bro, but even that's a bit to far of a stretch for him. ]}

[Of course she's the only one. Please.] I don't know... Seems like he just burned you pretty bad. [She smiles. It was a good one, Winn.]

But boys, fighting is not the kind of activity I had in mind for kicking off my rehabilitation.
